The final product of Assignment 1, Book Carving. The idea of my project was to build a city as you flip through the pages of the book. Starting with a small home, as you move through the book the buildings get larger and larger (small home, large home, apartments, condo, skyscraper, etc) until you arrive at the end with a city skyline.

shadows really work here... make it very dramatic... did you notice? are you using/highlighting shadows for your carving or space making project?
